I sigh and take a breath, trying to get this review just right. I put words on paper, scribble them out and repeat the process. Until I am left with a few words that are shining like a beacon to put down in reflection for an adequate review. Nostalgia, hope, and longing. I would be hard-pressed to point out a favorite poem here, I couldn’t even give you a top five because there were so many that brought me back to yesterday and then propelled me forward into tomorrow. Ruin My Lipstick is absolutely beautiful and stunning, and it would be a shame for someone to pass over this collection.
