Chasing the Omega, Jessica Edwards

Alice is just a typical girl who works, goes to school, and hangs out with her friend Sam. While working, she gets attacked and is bitten. When the group of kids in school that want nothing to do with anyone confront her about the bite, she’s doubtful. Turns out they’re a werewolf pack and their Alpha, Ryder, is pretty hot, if not rude. Though he’s nowhere near as rude as his two beta’s, Silver and Bane. Then there’s Kellan, he’s nice, and he genuinely seems to want the best for Alice.

But, there are no such things as werewolves, and she definitely isn’t going to turn into one. Especially if she keeps doing her own thing and fighting the change. But what if Ryder, really does mean to help her like he keeps promising? Something is taking down town people and Ryder is vowing to find out who has done it, so surely he’s got to be a good guy, right?

Chasing the Omega is one of the better young adult books out there. Edwards has done good character development and she’s written an intense, non-stop action book. I was disappointed in the cliffhanger, as I always tend to be, but am excited that books 2 and 3 are out. I’m definitely going to add those to my TBR because this book was a lot of fun.

I think if you’re into young adult, you’re really going to dig this book. You can read my review on Amazon and Goodreads, and if you’ve liked it, please consider giving it a “like”. You can grab Chasing the Omega on Amazon for $2.99 and it’s enrolled in KU.
