Beginning of December TBR

Phew! We’re just through with Thanksgiving and we have a small break before Christmas, Kwanzaa, Festivus and all the like. I am still behind in my reviews, but I think I’ve done well catching up and staying in communication with the authors I work with. I was thinking of starting to do blog interviews, would this interest anyone? Send me a message and let me know. In the meantime, let’s look at what’s up on my TBR.

Still Breathing by E.A Fournier:
I have this in paperback and it really is a lovely cover. I’m only a few chapters in, so I don’t have anything to say about it yet. But I can tell you that the description is what drew me to this book. A newly widowed woman heads on over to Africa to work at a Ugandan middle school. Right up my alley. I’m excited to get back to reading this. You can grab Still Breathing on Amazon for $3.99.

Impostors by Scott Westerfeld:

I have this in paperback and the cover really pops. This is a YA novel that focuses on a set of twins. One was raised to be perfect, the other raised to be a killer. Super exciting and I can’t wait to start this as I love YA books. This is available on Amazon for $11.99

Cryptofauna, Patrick Canning:

When Jim decides to commit suicide, he is given another option by a concerned patient. What ensues is a fantastical new world in which he is playing a game. I’m only on the second chapter but the writing is great and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens to our main character. You can grab Cryptofauna on Amazon for $2.99, it’s enrolled in KU.

Ink, Jobie Baldwin
This is an interesting cover and I love the contrasting colors here. Ink is labelled as an urban fantasy and we find Christian possessed by a Greek god. Christian and other teens are gifted with various powers and it sounds like a lot of fun. You can get Ink on Amazon for 99 cents, it’s enrolled in KU.

Forgetting the Enemy, Amy Cecil:
I’m very lucky to be an ARC reader for Amy. Told in alternating viewpoints, we read of Michael, a crime boss who wants desperately to talk with Zaira. Unfortunately, her father, a Don, has forbidden his kids from having anything to do with Michael because he believes Michael’s family is behind the murder of his wife. Zaira is being forced to marry and hopefully, Michael will be able to help her get out of the wedding. This doesn’t release until December 10th, and I don’t have a preorder link for you, but you can follow Amy on Facebook and get all the latest information.

While I have you here, I want to note there are some great books that I’ve reviewed recently that are releasing this week. Meant to Be by Sienna Grant released today. Christmas Wish by Amanda Siegrist is releasing December 1st. While I didn’t sign up for this ARC due to my hectic review schedule, Poppy by Kailee Reese Samuels is releasing tomorrow, November 28th. You can grab it on Amazon for $2.99

So now let’s ask you a question. What’s in your TBR and what books are releasing this week that you are looking forward to reading?
