End of December TBR

Poppy, Kailee Samuels

Firstly, this cover is gorgeous, I love how striking the red is against the seductive background. I love Kailee’s books, she’s a very unique author, her writing is beautiful. I bought this in November and am so excited to be starting it. You can get it on Amazon for 99 cents, it’s enrolled in KU. Want to see what she’s got planned next? Head on over and give Kailee a follow on Facebook.

The Mine, John A. Heldt

I’ve read a different book of Heldt’s (River Rising) which was really good, so I am pleased at the opportunity to start this series. I’m about a third of the way in, and it’s similar to River Rising, and I’m loving it so far. You can grab The Mine on Amazon for $3.99, it’s enrolled in KU. Want to learn more about John and the books he’s written? Head on over to Facebook and give him a follow.

Unorthodox Union, Lilah E. Noir

I’m hoping to fit this one in, and even if I can’t, I wanted to share it for the cover. Her hair is gorgeous and I know that Ms. Noir spent some time designing the cover. The third in the series, I’m anxious to see how this wraps up. It releases tomorrow, December 15th and is available for preorder for $3.99 on Amazon. Then head on over to Facebook and give Lilah a follow.

Inheritance, Dani Shapiro

This was a very early ARC and I’m actually almost done with it. A memoir based of Dani’s life in which a DNA test reveals the man she thought was her father was not actually her father. We follow her story on discovery of self. It doesn’t release until January 15, 2019 but is available for preorder on Amazon for $12.99

Ink, Jobie Baldwin

This is labelled as urban fantasy and that’s what has me excited to read this book. It’s one of the rare subgenres of sci/fi that I really enjoy, and it’s a relatively new genre to me. I love this cover. You can grab Ink on Amazon for 99 cents, it’s enrolled in KU.

Flygirl, R.D. Kardon

I won an advanced ARC of this, and when I found out I won, I squealed. And then when it arrived in the mail, signed, I squealed some more and then my daughter promptly grabbed it to do a photoshoot. Flygirl releases January 3rd on Amazon but is available for preorder for $9.99. I for one, will have my review ready! You can follow R.D on Facebook and see what she has in store next.

For fun, here’s the book in the photoshoot that my daughter did:

The Red Address Book, Sofia Lundberg

This was another book that I received in paperback, and I’m so excited to be reviewing this. It follows 96 year old Doris and her journey through the past through her address book. It releases January 8th, 2019 and is available for preorder on Amazon for $12.99.

We also did a photoshoot for this book, here’s the pic:

Destiny by Jo-Anne Joseph

I’m not sure if I can fit this one in, but I’m surely going to try. This is the only book of hers I haven’t read and I was lucky enough to buy it a few weeks ago. If the fact that I’ve read all of her books is impressive, it should be. I love her books. Destiny is available on Amazon for $2.99. You can follow her on Facebook and find out why I love her so much.

This is a very tight TBR and I’m really hoping that I can finish all of these this month. There are some really great authors and some really gorgeous covers in this list. What are you reading this month?
