In the final book of the trilogy, Gemma has one final task, then she can be brought back to life. Gemma’s mother, worried for her safety, wants her to take a back seat to the latest mission, and that idea doesn’t work for Gemma. How can she sit back and leave the takedown to her team? Meanwhile, her best friend Brianna has gone missing, and no one has heard from her. With her desk friend Dave’s help, they are going to end all of this once and for all, and perhaps their friendship will evolve into something so much more.
I love the characters and I’ve enjoyed watching Gemma become closer to her coworkers. Gemma has such a fun and unique personality, her t-shirts were always a big hit in the books, and it’s been fun reading what new ones she’s come up with. It’s hard saying goodbye to Gemma as I’ve really grown to love her, but I think that Rachel sent her off with the best goodbye she could have. Very well done.
