Nutsi is an adorable young children’s book that tells the story of Nutsi, a squirrel who is afraid of the dark. Anxious to find some resolution to his fears, he sets out on a quest with his friend Lili to harness the moon so that his bedroom won’t be dark at night. The adventure keeps them out late and isn’t without dangers, but they try their hardest to get the moon.
This was a cute children’s story with bright engaging pictures for young children. It helps children relate to being scared of the dark, and while Nutsi and Lili go out very late to try and harness the moon, I don’t feel that children will suddenly get the idea to go and do that themselves.
Overall a cute and fun story to read to your littles at bedtime.
