After learning of her husband’s affair, Ava had buckled down, put the house back in order, and claimed her man. Sort of. She never really dealt with the infidelity and what sprung from it was an intense need for control. Everything from the shopping, to the house, and to her husband, she needed to know and plan it all. But when things all come to the surface, Ava needs to find out what she wants out of life, and perhaps revisit those long-forgotten dreams.
While Ava made a few questionable decisions along her journey, she owned those decisions. They led her to some pretty great people that helped her find the person she had long-ago buried. I loved the baby steps she made, and I loved watching her realize them. This was a fun read with some really great characters. It was well-written with a bit of fun, a bit of romance, and a lot of self-discovery. Nicely done!
