So I might have overdone it with my book planning. I have a huge TBR and some of them need to be done yesterday. I won’t have as many random books coming up in March, but I have some great books lined up and I’m super excited to read them.
The Queen of Veils-S. Usher Evans
This is the 4th book in the series and I started it last night. I first found Sush when I borrowed Spells and Sorcery from the library and I quickly became obsessed. The Princess Vigilante series is a fantasy with strong female characters and inclusivity. This one is available for preorder on Amazon for $4.99, it releases March 31st.
The Explorer-Phoebe Alexander
This released on March 5th and while it’s part of a wonderful series, it can be read as a standalone. While this one isn’t an ARC, I loved Abby in the first few books and adored the opportunity to see her soar. Phoebe writes strong female characters in a sex-positive environment. Available on Amazon for $3.99, it’s enrolled in KU.
Woman on the Edge-Samantha M. Bailey
This is a domestic thriller I grabbed off Edelweiss. I’m still new to that platform, so I’m always surprised when they approve a request. As it’s already released, I would like to get this one done as soon as possible. The beginning of the blurb is what hooked me:
A total stranger on the subway platform whispers, “Take my baby.”
She places her child in your arms. She says your name.
Then she jumps…
This is available on Amazon for $9.99
You and Me and Us-Alison Hammer
I won a paperback of this from a Goodreads giveaway. It’s told in alternating viewpoints from Alexis, a career-driven mother, and her daughter CeCe, who has to deal with her absent mother. Alexis gets the news that her s/o Tommy has terminal cancer and it changes everything. I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy read when I signed up to win this, but I’m glad I did win it. I started it yesterday and it’s really hard to put down.
Available for preorder on Amazon for 11.99, it releases April 7th.
You Let Me In-Camila Bruce
Cassandra Tipp is an eccentric, recluse novelist whose been surrounded in mystery due to quite a few deaths. She leaves behind a final manuscript, which may reveal the truth of what has really happened in the past. This is a domestic thriller, and I love the premise, the air of mystery, and the way the book is going to unfold. It’s available for preorder on Amazon for $13.99, it releases April 21st.
If You’re Reading This-Alex Tveit
This came to me as an ARC request. Petter has been struggling recently, and when he receives an email from his father, it would seem an uneventful thing. But his father passed away a few weeks prior. He and his best friend get to the bottom of the mystery in this YA read. Available on Amazon for 99 cents, it’s enrolled in KU.
More than Maybe-Erin Hahn
I read You’d Be Mine as an ARC before it came out and was asked to read this and participate in a blog tour for it. It features Luke, the son of a rocker who doesn’t want that lifestyle and Vada, who has a 5-year plan steeped in the music industry. I love YA and the blurb says it’s swoony, so I’m excited to read this one. It’s available for preorder on Amazon for $9.99, it releases May 12th.
So this is my immediate TBR. I’m sure I will try to fit in a few other books as well because I always have a few books going at once, but I will pick those out at the last minute.
What are you reading?
