The Fragile Ordinary, Samantha Young

I honestly don’t know how to review this book. There are pieces in Comet that are pieces in me, and sometimes the lines of what Comet was going through blurred so much with my teenage self that I felt my heart breaking for her repeatedly. Even when her strength was shining through, it was a strength she had built all on her own.

I appreciate Young’s note in writing that she, too, had put so many pieces of herself into Comet. I should have known to expect something moving and wonderful in this book. After all, The Impossible Vastness Of Us is an entire experience in itself. She should definitely do more YA, but I will be reading more of her backlist either way. A wonderful read.
