In my first ‘unreviewed books’ post of the new year, I realize that the majority of the books are Manga. I’m working my way through the pile of Manga I have and I’m almost caught up! Let’s get to it!

Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea, L.M. Montgomery
Classics/Literary Fiction
I read quite a few of the Anne books as a preteen, though I don’t remember how many of them I read. I love how good these books made me feel. I definitely don’t have more to add to the conversation, which is why they’re (fairly) unreviewed. (I did leave a couple notes on GR.)
I give 5 stars to both.
The Long Way Up, Alix Harrow
Short Story/Fantasy
This is a reread, but I don’t have anything to add to the conversation. It was published in The Deadlands, a spec fiction magazine, you can find a link on Alix’s website if you want to read it.
I give this 5 stars.

Moriarty the Patriot, Vol 1, Ryōsuke Takeuchi, Hikaru Miyoshi
Manga/Mystery
This series is based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I stumbled across it browsing the bookstore, and so far, I adore it.
I give this 5 stars.

Phantom Tales of the Night Vol 5 and Vol 6, Matsuri
Manga/Fantasy
I love this series. It’s creepy, at times emotional, and the storyline is a blast.
I give them both 4 stars.

Beyond the Clouds Vol 2, Nicke
Manga/Fantasy
This was another series I stumbled onto in the book store. There are only 4 books out so far which is disappointing because I am impatient, so I’ve been trying to read them slowly.
I give this 5 stars.

The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern
Historical Fantasy
This is a reread, so I didn’t re-review it. Erin is one of my favs.
I would give this all the stars if they let me, but I’ve settled on 5.
DNF

Blood Debts, Terry J. Benton-Walker
YA Fantasy
This isn’t out yet; I won it in a GR giveaway. I did post some thoughts on why I DNF’d it, mainly I feel it needs major editing. But perhaps the book might be right for others.
We’re caught up! I’ve been doing a ton of reading lately, so it makes sense that there would be some books that I’m unable to review.
Have you finished any books lately that you haven’t been able to review for whatever reason?
Some books just don’t need more reviews!
